Conditions of carriage
Conditions of Carriage — Taxi & Private Transfer Terms
The transport rules for our private airport transfers and taxi rides: licensed and insured carriage, luggage, child restraints, conduct, liability, and force majeure.
Last updated: 1 July 2026
Who provides the carriage
These Conditions of Carriage apply once we are carrying, or are about to carry, you and your party. They sit alongside our Terms of Service and our Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy; where a transport-specific point is covered here, this document governs it.
The carriage is arranged by SGR Seyahat Acentası Turizm Ticaret Limited Şirketi, a licensed Turkish travel agency (TÜRSAB işletme belge no 13924), Vergi Dairesi Nevşehir, Vergi No 7692165289, MERSİS 0769216528900001, registered at Tekelli, Karlık Sk. No:12, 50240 Uçhisar / Nevşehir, Türkiye. You can reach us at info@uchisartaxi.tr or on WhatsApp at +90 537 609 53 81.
As an agency we may perform the transfer with our own licensed vehicles or arrange it with licensed carriers. Every vehicle used to carry you is duly licensed and insured for commercial passenger transport.
Licensed and insured carriage
Each transfer is operated under the appropriate Turkish transport authorisation and carries the compulsory insurances required for commercial passenger carriage under the Karayolu Taşıma Yönetmeliği (KTY) m.24.
These are the Zorunlu Trafik Sigortası (compulsory motor third-party liability), the Zorunlu Karayolu Taşımacılık Mali Sorumluluk Sigortası (compulsory road-carrier financial-liability insurance), and the Karayolu Yolcu Taşımacılığı Zorunlu Koltuk Ferdi Kaza Sigortası (compulsory seat personal-accident insurance). The insured amounts are those fixed by the current SEDDK tariff in force at the time of carriage.
What the fare includes
Prices are shown in Turkish Lira (TRY), are fixed per route, and include tax (KDV dâhil). You pay the driver directly on arrival, in TRY; no card details are collected or stored by this website and no deposit or prepayment is taken.
- Included: the driver, a licensed and insured vehicle, fuel, all road and motorway tolls, and airport parking for the meet-and-greet.
- Not included: extra stops beyond the agreed route and extra waiting beyond the free waiting window described below. Any extra is agreed with the driver in TRY before it is provided.
- If you book a bundled package (for example a transfer combined with a tour and/or an overnight stay) it is a paket tur, and additional package-travel rules and a separate agreement apply.
Free waiting time and meet-and-greet
For airport pickups at Kayseri (ASR) and Nevşehir (NAV), we monitor your flight and the driver meets you inside the terminal with a name sign. Free waiting is 60 minutes counted from your actual landing time, not the scheduled time, so a delayed flight does not shorten it.
For hotel and in-town pickups, free waiting is 15 minutes from the agreed pickup time. If more waiting is needed, it is arranged directly with the driver and charged in TRY. Please keep the WhatsApp number you gave us reachable so the driver can find you quickly.
Luggage
Each passenger may bring 1 suitcase (up to 158 cm in combined length + width + height) and 1 cabin or hand bag. Oversized or special items — skis, a stroller, a wheelchair, a musical instrument or similar — must be declared at booking so we send the right vehicle (for example a Mercedes Vito or a larger Sprinter) with enough space.
Luggage is carried at your own risk. We are liable only for loss of or damage to luggage caused by our own fault. Please keep valuables, electronics, travel documents and medication with you in the cabin rather than in the hold.
Child restraints — Turkish law applies on our roads
Turkish road-traffic rules apply to every journey regardless of the passengers' nationality. Under the Karayolları Trafik Yönetmeliği m.150 (implementing 2918 sayılı KTK m.78):
- Children shorter than 150 cm and lighter than 36 kg must travel in an appropriate child restraint (çocuk bağlama sistemi).
- A child taller than 135 cm may use a normal seat belt provided the child does not sit in the front seat.
- Children under 3 years old may not be carried without a suitable restraint.
- In taxis, a child uses a restraint where one is available; otherwise the child must travel on the rear seat.
- The driver must ensure correct restraint use for occupants under 15.
Child seats
Child seats are available free on request. Please pre-book them so we can fit them to the assigned vehicle; provision is subject to availability. Every child occupies a seat and counts toward the vehicle's capacity.
Seat belts, no smoking, and pets
- Seat belts are fitted in all seats and must be worn by every passenger throughout the journey, as required by the Karayolları Trafik Yönetmeliği m.150.
- Smoking and vaping are prohibited in the vehicle at all times, as required by Law No. 4207 (4207 sayılı Kanun) for commercial passenger vehicles.
- Assistance and guide dogs are always welcome. Other pets may travel only if requested at booking and agreed in advance; small animals must be in a suitable carrier, and you remain responsible for the animal throughout the journey.
Capacity, extra passengers and extra stops
Carriage is limited to the vehicle's licensed seating capacity; overloading is not permitted. As a guide, a Mercedes Vito seats up to about 7–8 passengers, and a Sprinter carries the number stated on its licence. Passengers not declared at booking may be refused, or may require a larger vehicle at a re-quoted price.
Extra stops must be pre-booked and may change the price, which is reconfirmed before the trip. A brief courtesy stop may be granted at the driver's discretion.
Driver's right to refuse or end a journey
For everyone's safety, the driver may refuse to start or may end a journey if a passenger is intoxicated, abusive, behaving unsafely, exceeding the licensed capacity, or otherwise endangering the vehicle or its occupants. This right rests on the driver's road-safety duty and does not create any refund obligation, since nothing is prepaid.
Cleaning and damage
If the vehicle is soiled and needs cleaning beyond normal use, a reasonable cleaning fee applies. The amount will be communicated to you before it is charged. Where a passenger causes damage to the vehicle, the actual repair cost is also payable. Any such amount is paid to the driver directly, consistent with our pay-the-driver model.
Lost property
Items left in the vehicle that we find are held for 30 days. We will try to return found property to you, and return is at your cost (for example postage or courier). We do not accept liability for the value of items left behind. Please check the cabin before you leave the vehicle.
Our liability
Except for the matters preserved below, our liability for any transfer is limited to the fare for the affected transfer, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as missed onward flights, missed tours, lost earnings or lost enjoyment.
Nothing in these Conditions limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Law No. 6502 (TKHK) or other mandatory Turkish law. Any blanket disclaimer of personal-injury liability would be void, and none is intended here.
Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control. On the Cappadocia plateau these include severe weather, snow, ice and road closures, natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, epidemics, and official restrictions or orders.
If your booking is a balloon-watching transfer, please note the transfer and the balloon flight are separate. A transfer that is delivered is normally payable, while the balloon flight is operated by a third party. If the authorities or weather cancel the balloon flight, we will reschedule the balloon-watching transfer to the next flying day or cancel it at no charge; we are not responsible for the balloon operator's decision or for any fee you paid a balloon company. This mirrors our Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy.
