About this page
This page gathers, in one place, the information you may want before you send us a booking request. We provide it voluntarily as a matter of good practice and transparency.
A standalone airport transfer, local transfer or taxi ride is a passenger transport service, which is expressly outside the scope of the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation (Mesafeli Sözleşmeler Yönetmeliği m.2/2(h)) and is not a distance contract. For that reason there is no statutory pre-information form (Ön Bilgilendirme Formu) and no fourteen-day right of withdrawal for these services. This page is therefore informational rather than a binding statutory form; it also serves to meet the site-disclosure duties that do apply to our business under Turkish e-commerce law (Law No. 6563).

If you book a bundled package (for example a transfer combined with a tour and/or an overnight stay) it is a package tour (paket tur) and additional package-travel rules and a separate agreement apply.

Reaching TÜRSAB and its rules
As a licensed travel agency we are a member of the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) and hold agency licence No 13924. TÜRSAB's rules and its arbitration procedure for agency-related disputes are published by the Association at www.tursab.org.tr; you can also confirm our membership there. On request we will point you to the relevant rules.
The service and its essential characteristics
We provide private passenger transfers and, on request, tours in the Cappadocia region — typically between Kayseri (ASR) and Nevşehir (NAV) airports and hotels in Göreme, Uçhisar, Ürgüp, Avanos and nearby, as well as local transfers and balloon-watching transfers. Round trips are available.
The essential characteristics of your booking — route (pickup and drop-off), date and time, vehicle class (for example a Mercedes Vito or a Sprinter for larger groups) and number of passengers and bags — are the details you enter in the booking form and that the driver confirms with you. Please state at booking any special requirements (child seats, oversized or special luggage, pets, extra stops) so the right vehicle is sent.
Total price and extras
Prices are shown in Turkish Lira (TRY), are fixed per route, and are inclusive of value added tax (KDV) and all applicable taxes. Each price is calculated by our system from the route you enter and includes the driver, a licensed and insured vehicle, fuel, all road and motorway tolls, and airport parking.
The only items not included in the quoted price are extras you request, namely extra stops beyond the agreed route and extra waiting beyond the free waiting time. These are agreed with the driver directly, in TRY. If you change the route, the booking is re-priced and the new price is confirmed to you before the trip.
Payment: you pay the driver on arrival
There is no online payment. This website does not take any payment, deposit or prepayment, and no card details are collected or stored by this website.
You pay the driver directly on arrival, in cash or by card, in Turkish Lira, for the completed transfer. The price agreed at booking is the price you pay; there is no separate booking fee.
Delivery and performance of the service
For airport pickups we monitor your flight and meet you inside the terminal with a name sign (meet and greet). Waiting time is free for 60 minutes from your actual landing at the airport. For hotel and city pickups, waiting time is free for 15 minutes from the agreed time.
The transfer is performed at the pickup place and time confirmed by the driver. If your flight is delayed, the free airport waiting time runs from actual landing; please keep the flight number in your booking accurate and up to date so we can track it.
How a booking is made, and correcting mistakes
You make a booking in a few simple steps: you enter your route, date, time and passenger details in the form, you review the summary and the total price shown, and you submit the form. Submitting the form creates a booking request, not a paid order.
Before you submit, you can review every detail on the summary and go back to change any field — for example an incorrect date, pickup point or flight number — so you can detect and correct input errors yourself. After you submit, our driver contacts you by WhatsApp to confirm; if anything is wrong you can correct it in that exchange before the transfer is confirmed. Your transfer becomes a confirmed transport contract only when the driver confirms it by WhatsApp.
The details of your booking request are recorded and remain accessible to you: they are shown on screen after submission and are set out again in the driver's WhatsApp confirmation, which you can keep for your records.
No right of withdrawal, and free cancellation
Because a transfer or tour is provided on a specific date, there is no fourteen-day right of withdrawal (cayma hakkı) for these services under the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation (Mesafeli Sözleşmeler Yönetmeliği m.15/1(g)-(h)). This does not affect your other consumer rights.
In practice this costs you nothing. As no payment is taken online, you may cancel at any time free of charge — there is nothing to refund because nothing is prepaid. As a courtesy, please tell us on WhatsApp at least 3 hours before pickup so the driver can be released. Changes are also free via WhatsApp, subject to availability; a changed route may be re-priced and the new price confirmed before the trip.
Complaints and dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, please raise it with the driver at the time and write to us at info@uchisartaxi.tr, ideally within 14 days of the transfer. We aim to resolve complaints quickly and fairly.
You keep your statutory consumer remedies under Turkish Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 6502). Depending on the amount in dispute, you may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) of your own district or province — the mandatory first instance for disputes below the annual threshold (186.000 TL for 2026) — or, above that threshold, to the Consumer Court (Tüketici Mahkemesi). Your right to apply to the committee or court of your own place of residence cannot be removed. For package-tour and agency-fault disputes, the TÜRSAB Arbitration Board (TÜRSAB Tahkim Kurulu) is an additional route.
