About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how SGR Seyahat Acentası Turizm Ticaret Limited Şirketi, trading as Uçhisar Taxi ("we", "us"), uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.uchisartaxi.tr. It applies together with our Data Protection Notice, which describes in full how we handle your personal data.
You can contact us about this policy at [email protected], by phone or WhatsApp at +90 537 609 53 81, or by post at Tekelli, Karlık Sk. No:12, 50240 Uçhisar / Nevşehir, Türkiye.
What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage, which let a website remember information in your browser. We refer to all of these together as "cookies" in this policy.
Cookies can be "first-party" (set by this website) or "third-party" (set by another provider whose service is embedded on a page, such as Google Maps). They can be "session" cookies, deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain for a set period or until you delete them.
The legal basis for using cookies
For cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the website and the booking service you have requested, we rely on our legitimate interest and on the need to perform the service (Art. 6(1)(f) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). These do not require your consent, and their storage and reading is likewise exempt from consent under § 25(2) TDDDG.
For all other cookies — analytics, advertising measurement and third-party map embeds — we act only on the basis of your prior consent (§ 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; and, for visitors in Türkiye, the açık rıza and aydınlatma requirements of the KVKK, in particular Art. 5(1) KVKK). We do not store or read non-essential cookies before you have given consent, and consent is entirely voluntary.
Strictly necessary cookies (no consent needed)
These cookies are required for the website to function securely and for you to submit a booking request. Without them the service cannot be provided, so they are always active.
- Hosting and security: technical cookies set by our infrastructure providers Vercel (hosting and content delivery) and Supabase (database, in an EU region) to route traffic, balance load, and protect the site against abuse and attacks.
- Session and booking: cookies and local storage that keep your session, hold the details you enter into the booking form, and allow the form to work correctly.
- Consent storage: a small entry in your browser's local storage that records your cookie choices so we can respect them and do not ask you on every visit.
Analytics and marketing cookies (consent required)
These cookies are set only after you give consent and are blocked until then. You can accept or refuse them, and withdraw your consent later at any time.
- Google Ads and Google Tag: used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, for example whether a visit led to a booking enquiry. Provider: Google. Typical duration: up to around 14 months.
- Google Maps embeds: interactive maps shown on some pages to display routes and locations. When a map loads, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address. Provider: Google. These maps are not loaded until you consent.
- Website analytics and performance measurement (where enabled): used to understand how pages are used and to detect speed problems, so we can improve the site. These are activated only with your consent.
Third-party services set their own cookies
Some links and embedded services connect you to third parties who operate under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we do not control. This includes WhatsApp/Meta (when you message us), embedded Google Maps, and any social media links.
When you use these services, the provider may set its own cookies and process your data according to its own terms. We recommend reviewing the relevant provider's privacy policy.
International data transfers
Some cookie providers, in particular Google and Meta/WhatsApp, are based in or transfer data to the United States. Where this happens, transfers are safeguarded through the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR), and, on the KVKK side, through the Kurul's Standart Sözleşme or other appropriate safeguards under KVKK m.9.
Full details of the recipients, the safeguards, and your rights are set out in our Data Protection Notice, which you should read together with this policy.
Managing and withdrawing your consent
When you first visit the site, a banner lets you accept or refuse non-essential cookies. Your choice is saved and applied immediately.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the persistent "Manage cookies" control available on the website; withdrawing consent stops future processing but does not affect processing that already took place. You can also delete existing cookies and block future ones through your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site, including the booking form, from working.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the tools we use or the legal requirements change. The date below shows when it was last revised, and any material change will be reflected in the consent options offered on the site.
